iPad Could Boost Interactive Music

In a week filled with “me too” iPad-support announcements from companies that have remastered their offerings for the iPad, Reality Jockey’s announcement of an interactive iPad music app for the group Kids on DSP (video below) stood out from the crowd, enabling new behaviors rather than doctored-up version of old ones.

The free Rj Voyager iPad app lets you modify the band’s music as if you were a sound engineer or pro DJ. The app heralds a future where users are constantly tweaking and personalizing the music they currently just listen to, and also hints at a world where music apps will adjust to a user’s surroundings through sensors on the device.
